Bliss Products Review

Good Day beautiful people! I am writing today about Bliss products from www.bliss.com. I am absolutely excited about these beauty marvels and cannot wait to share my success with them. Perhaps I can inspire others to try these babies out if they have any doubt of them working. 

My first review is on Fat Girl Slim. Fat Girl Slim was developed to reduce cellulite and to firm and tone the skin. Sounds like a miracle in a jar right? Here are the details:

Ingredients for Bliss Fat Girl Slim

Bliss Fat Girl Slim contains QuSome encapsulated caffeine. Caffeine is well known to help achieve an improvement in the visible appearance of cellulite and is nearly expected to be present in any anti cellulite cream that is worth the trouble and money. Other ingredients are:

Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, PEG-12, Glyceryl Distearate, Cyclomethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Sodium Benzoate, Butylene Glycol, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Bupleurumfalcatum Root Extract, Coenzyme A, Dimethicone, PEG-8, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Triethanolamine, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Phenoxyethanol, Methlychoroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.

Does Fat Girl Slim Work?

Apparently, users do occasionally “achieve a higher state of happiness”, as the product line promises they could. Likewise, they are warned that the this is not a weight or fat loss product. 

As a topical anti cellulite remedy, reviews were varied but generally there were more positive comments than negative ones. It was considered to be effective for toning, tightening and moisturizing skin by nearly all consumers who were questioned. Most all of these individuals concur in that it does both reduce the appearance of cellulite and help achieve a slimmer line overall. It appeared to be especially useful for moderate or light cases of cellulite and practically useless for more complicated situations.

Bliss Fat Girl Slim Recommendation

The cream should be applied to clean, dry skin twice a day with a 20-30 second massage. No minimum time period was mentioned, thus those who try this product might have to be very diligent if they are to expect any results. Some consumers stated in their reviews, however, that improvement was noted after just a few days.

Bliss Fat Girl Slim Safety and Warnings

There is no indication anywhere as to whether this product is dermatologist tested. The product website strongly advises to avoid touching your eyes when the product has been applied and to discontinue use if any rashes or irritation develop. As always, an allergy patch test should be performed with this and any other topical cosmetic product before more ample application in the target areas.

Final Stamp of Approval

At just around $36 for a 6-ounce jar, it is considerably less expensive than a great many of its competitors. Some people complained that the product had a disagreeable odor, but these were comparatively few. In short, it appears to deliver what it promises in many occasions, but no minimum time frame is given, so you may be in for a long haul. 

Individual expectations vary enormously as well. If you expect “a higher state of happiness”, you will probably be extremely disappointed. If you are okay with the results being accepted, it might be a good choice given the affordability of the cream.

I do see more skin clarity, more tone, and elasticity. I have also been doing more squats so that helps out tremendously and have been drinking more water. So I do believe this product works but I feel one can have better results with toning exercises as well. 

My second review is on Bliss Poetic Waxing Kit. Granted, I do not have a major hair problem but wanted a close shave and to get rid of a few ingrown hairs. This kit worked!

Bliss poetic waxing kit is a safe and effective, stripless, low-heat, hard wax hair removal system that 'shrink-wraps' hair without adhering to skin for take-it-all-off waxing gentle enough for sensitive skin. Blue color makes for easy-to-see application. For hair removal on face or body. Microwaveable for fast, easy at-home use.

Your kit includes the following:

• 3 large spatulas
• 3 small spatulas
• One free ingrown eliminating pad sample
• Wax-filled cup (5.3 oz.)
• Super skin cleanser (1.0 oz.)
• Pre- and post-waxing oil (1.0 oz.)

How to Use 

Place the Poetic Waxing cup in a microwave oven and heat in 30 second intervals, until the wax is the consistency of thick honey. A full mug usually takes 5-6 30-second intervals to melt the wax to the desired consistency. Actual heat times may vary depending on your microwave and the amount of wax in the mug. (If the wax gets too cool during waxing, simply re-heat at 30-second intervals until ready.) If wax is too thin, allow to cool and thicken in the microwave before removing. Before you begin, use a spatula to test the wax temperature on the inside of your wrist. Wax should be spreading consistency but not uncomfortably hot.

Precautions:

• The mug may be warm to touch so always remove from the microwave by using the handle. Hot Wax Can Burn.
• Do not heat mug on the stovetop, in a conventional oven, or any other manner besides as instructed.

Cleanse the area to be waxed with Super Skin Cleanser on a cotton pad. Blot area dry. Massage a light film of poetic pre and post waxing oil into skin, leaving skin slightly shiny but not greasy. Using spatula, apply wax in strips in direction of hair growth, using slight pressure. As soon as wax is firm yet still flexible, pull off quickly against hair growth. Apply pressure to area waxed immediately to reduce sting. If any hair remains, wait 2-3 minutes and reapply wax, using slightly more pressure. After waxing, cleanse skin with poetic skin cleanser, then soothe with pre and post waxing oil.

Final Stamp of Approval 

This product is different than your traditional wax. This one does not use strips that you rip off your skin to get the wax off, just to have sticky residue left over. I found it was less painful, easier for cleanup (on skin and work area), and easy to use. I used this product for my legs. The price can be a bit of a shock; until I priced out one visit to my local waxer (using a similar product). The kit just paid for itself! I am extremely happy with the product and my skin as well! I have very sensitive skin so it was not as bad to use. My skin does not have red bumps or any signs of irritation afterwards compared to other wax kits.

Have you ever tried Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter? Bliss Body Butter is absolutely to die for! I have tried a lot of body butters in the past but this one really does the job for my dry winter skin. I am a very active person so I tend to overlook my skin. Of course, I tend to my face but God forbid if I get a wrinkle lol, but I often overlook the rest of my skin. I used Bliss Body butter for a whole month and saw great results. My skin is smooth and appears very hydrated.

Bliss' Lemon + Sage Body Butter restored with my moisture back to my skin. It is not greasy compared to other creams I have used. The smell is divine! I will definitely stock up for this coming winter.

Okay, next up is Bliss Night, Night Facial in a Box. This bad boy is AMAZING!

I love the fact that I could try them all out in a kit as opposed to buying a full size product just in case I didn't like the product.

All in all, my face has more of a glow and feels hydrated. I have a luminous glow around my eyes and my skin looks more energized. I have been pulling long hours at work and noticed my skin was a bit dull. I am very pleased the Multi-Face-eted Anti-aging Mask perked up my skin.  I have never tried Bliss products before but I am glad I did. This kit is a winner so I will definitely be adding it to my beauty arsenal!
